Ashley Hausman Vaughters
Owner of Mistral Wine Co., LLC., Ashley Hausman Vaughters CS, CWS, started her wine career in New York City, where she attained her Masters in American and English Literature at New York University but saw the opportunity for wine education in Denver, CO.
She is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators, a Spanish Wine Expert through the Spanish Wine Academy and recently she finished her Diploma with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. As of September 15, 2017 she is now Colorado's newest Master of Wine! She teaches at Alliance Francaise, Colorado Free University, A Bottled Affair as well as private and corporate functions.
Ashley has worked with PBS, The Museum of Nature and Science, the University of Denver as well as several local restaurants. She also sits on the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board. Ashley Vaughters believes that to be a good instructor, one must be a constant student.
