WSET has partnered with Accredible, a world leading digital certificate platform, to bring students a fast, sustainable, and secure alternative to paper certificates. A digital certificate is essentially an online version of a paper certificate that a candidate receives after they finish a WSET qualification. Instead of being a physical piece of paper, it’s a unique webpage that is linked to the candidate’s email address, which can easily be shared on social media, or to potential employers. These are only for WSET Levels 1 and 2 currently!! ALL Level 3 results will still be paper certificates.

Digital badges will also accompany all digital certificates. These can be embedded into email signatures and once clicked they will enable direct access to a candidate’s digital certificate.

Digital certificates and badges bring a huge range of benefits, including the following:

• Candidates will receive their certificates much faster via email than by post. We're talking exam results expedited into 2-3 weeks with immediate certificate delivery when results are announced. A huge improvement over the 4-6 weeks for results and often another 4 weeks for pins and certificates.
• Candidates will also be able to share their results more easily on social media, with employers, and will be able to print their own certificate.
• Digital certificates are secure and easily verifiable online.
• Digital certificates are better for the environment and more sustainable in the long-term.

All new student welcome emails will have a link for registration, we'll also send registration links when results are sent. Please use the SAME email address as in your registration to ensure prompt delivery. Also note that we at WEI will no longer be able to see or print or access your certificate in any way due to the security embedded in the certificate tool.
