Many of you know that we already offer the Certificate in Scotch Whisky but the Diploman in Scotch Whisky is now offered in an online format directly from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy as well. The Edinburgh Whisky Academy’s Diploma in Single Malt Whisky offers an in-depth, brand-neutral insight into a world that fascinates whisky consumers from across the globe. This online version of the course allows access for those who may not be able to travel to Scotland, or perhaps simply wish to spread their studies over three weeks.

 

We’re proud to provide the whisky in the sample kit that accompanies the course through esipz.com. Of the 15x30cl samples, six form part of a tutored live tasting and nine are for nosing and tasting in the Sensory section of the final assessment. Learning is self-paced over three weeks with weekly tutorials as well as weekly drop in dram sessions. With engaging digital content, modules covered include the history of whisky and distillation, the business of whisky, raw materials, batch distillation, maturation and world whiskies and a session on sensory skills.
