Society of Wine Educators - Certified Specialist of Wine Course from the Wine Education Institute is designed to complement your own study efforts in preparation for the CSW exam. Classes occur every other week over 16 weeks.

Class 1 - Introduction, general wine production, biology, health, service, etc.
Class 2 - France
Class 3 - Italy
Class 4 - Spain
Class 5 - Other Old World/New World
Class 6 - New World
Class 7 - Review, Q&A
Class 8 - 1 hour/100 question exam, "grading", discussion
Class 9 - Review, Q&A
Each week would involve a 15 minute/25 question practice exam and Q&A/tips on taking the exam.
Exam
The CSW Exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, with all question content drawn exclusively from the CSW Study Guide. Candidates are provided with one (1) hour in which to complete the exam.
The CSW Study Guide is included with the cost of a CSW Certification Exam sitting, and will be sent to you from the SWE Home Office upon purchase. For those who would like a digital copy of the Study Guide to supplement the hard copy, an eBook version is available on Amazon and on iTunes.
Exams are offered on an on-demand basis at Pearson Vue Centers worldwide.
